Social Media Post for an Online Survey/Questionnaire
Hello friends! My name is Diana McGinnis, and I am a doctoral student at National University (formerly Northcentral University). I am conducting an online survey to explore how employment status and psychological traits influence cybersecurity behaviors while addressing the strength in the relationships between employment status and the skills gap. In order to participate, you must meet the following criteria:
1. You are 18 years of age or older.
2. You are a legal resident of the state of Oklahoma.
3. You are employed (either part-time or full-time) as a legal professional OR you own a business in the legal field that is registered in the state of Oklahoma.
4. You are a user of technology (i.e., computers or handheld devices).
The survey is anonymous and has 24 questions and an estimated amount of time is 12 minutes to complete the survey and will ask questions about the topics of Protective Motivation Theory two components, threat appraisal and coping appraisal, and the Cybersecurity Behavioral Model integrating three factors of Computing Skills (CS), Information-seeking Skills (I-S), and Prior Experience with Computer Security Practice (PE), and the eight psychological traits of Perceived Vulnerability (PV), Perceived Severity (PS), Security Self-Efficacy (SS-E), Perceived Barricades (PBR), Perceived Benefits (PB), Response Efficacy (RE), Cues to Action (CTA), Peer Behavior (PBEH) and Self-Reported Cybersecurity Behavior (S-RCYBEH).
