Hi all.
Does anyone think it would be a nice idea to change the Certified Paralegal (CP) and Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designations to Nationally Certified Paralegal (NCP) and Advanced Nationally Certified Paralegal (ANCP)? By adding the "N" to the initialism, it would separate NALA Certified Paralegals from other groups using "CP," such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Also, with many states jumping on the bandwagon by also certifying paralegals, I believe NALA should have credit for being nationally recognized.
